Have Smartphones Destroyed a Generation


The auther insist that the biggest difference between the Millennials and their predecessors was in how they viewed the world. The reason is that smartphones are universal in 2012.

And the impact of these devices has concerns about curtailed attention spans. This time may seem foreign and in their generation.

Mybe teen are safe and comfortable now, but  they are more vulnerable than Millennials in the psychology.

Auther insist that the shift is stunning——12th-graders in 2015 were going out less often than eighth-graders did as recently as 2009.

In fact,  iGen teens have more leisure time than Gen X teens did, not less.

But they are on their phone, in their room, alone and often distressed.

  • In other words, we should go out more, instead of staying at home with socializing on the phone!
